Great Ideas that Died
Over the course of everyone’s career, we’ve all had great ideas that have died of a fiery death. I want to take this moment and share some of the great thinking that either clients couldn’t get behind or pull the trigger. Enjoy.
PPG Pin to Save
To introduce and celebrate the Color of the Year, we wanted to use Night Watch to help save the very things that inspired it: Nature.
We would create and curate a series of pins featuring Night Watch in all its glory. Every time a Night Watch pin is saved, a little piece of nature would be saved.
Famous Footwear
For the Back-to-School season, we wanted Famous Footwear to contribute to the anti-bully movement in a way they only could—create a shoe insert that alerts students’ teachers, and parents when being bullied. Paired with smartphones, the insert uses tech to measure the physiological spikes in the body. Unfortunately, this idea was out of budget, which means its still available to investors—just saying.
Cruzan Rum Cloud Races
With a chill brand essence, we proposed a simple idea to help the daily commuter get away from it all and remember to slow down. Introducing “The Don’t Hurry Cloud Races.”
Glidden Paint Shake
Now that you can buy paint on Amazon, you miss out on the one fun thing about painting...the good ol’ paint shake. We wanted to create and send customers a digital paint shake right after your purchase on Amazon.
